The newly-formed 93 United took the Gold Medal at FVAA's 2009 Presidential Classic held on February 7th & 8th.  The boys started out strong with a 2-1 win against the FVAA Flash White with goals scored by Joze Aguero and Steven Kiefer.  They then played the GUFC Red and despite a great effort, lost 2-0.  But Sunday morning they came out ready to play and beat the TUSA Green 5-1 with goals from Steven Kiefer (2), Zach Lychalk, Jonas Nielsen and Jonathan Pedrozo.  With a 2-1-0 record the 93 boys secured their place in the championship and faced GUFC Red, the team that had beaten them earlier in the tournament.  Undaunted, the 93 United played a skillful match and won 2-1 with goals by Steven Keifer and Jose Aguero.  Congratulations Champs!
